Wrexham AFC Tickets

Ticketing for the 2025/26 Season

History of International/Global Member Ticketing

At the beginning of the 2023/24 season, Wrexham AFC allocated 75 tickets per game in the Wrexham Lager Stand (Section Y9) for International Members. When the Temporary Kop opened midway through the season, additional seats in the lower rows were also made available to International Members.

For the 2024/25 season, the allocation increased to approximately 180 tickets per game for Global Members in the Temporary Kop—specifically Row E in Section B and Rows A–C in Sections C and D.

Looking ahead to the 2025/26 season, membership categories no longer include a separate designation for fans living outside the UK. Currently, I am not aware of any official club announcements regarding ticketing for international or global members. What follows below is based on my own experience attending home and away matches.

Major Ticketing Changes for the 2O25/26 Season

1. Home Tickets are now sold by lottery.

2. Away Tickets and Home Cup Tickets are still sold first-come, first-served, with season ticket holders having priority.

3. Memberships are no longer categorized differently for fans outside of the UK.

Match Ticket General Information

Like most UK clubs, Wrexham AFC requires a club membership to buy match tickets. Tickets are sold exclusively through the club, with no official secondary online sellers. The steps for purchasing directly from the club are outlined below, but here are some options if you miss out online:

  1. Private Facebook Groups – A few members-only pages exist where fans can buy, sell, or swap tickets.

  2. Ask Around on Matchday – The Turf and other pre-game gathering spots are good places to connect with fellow supporters.

  3. Visit the Ticket Office – On game day, the club often releases any remaining or returned tickets.

  4. What Not to Do – Avoid walking around the stadium with an “I NEED TICKETS” sign. It may go viral on social media, but locals (many of whom also need tickets) see it as poor etiquette and strongly discourage it.

Step-by-step Guide to Purchasing Match Tickets

Preparations

1. Purchase a Wrexham Club Membership

The process is straightforward and can be done through the official Wrexham AFC website.

2. Activate your Membership

Your membership must be activated to purchase tickets.

3. Create your Network

If you plan to purchase more than one ticket, you will need to assign each ticket to an active member.

4. Await Ticket Sale Notifications

Ticket sales for each match begin approximately 2-4 weeks prior to the match. You can receive notifications for ticket sales for specific matches via club emails, the website, and social media posts a few days before sales begin.

Purchasing League Home Tickets

1. Enter Initial Lottery

Tickets for these matches are sold by lottery. The club will announce a window of 2-3 days in which you can submit a ballot for tickets. The draw and notification of ballot results will occur approximately 2 days after the ballot entry closes.

2. Unsuccessful Ballots

Notification of unsuccessful ballot results will occur by email approximately 1-2 days after the ballot entry window closes.

3. Successful Ballots

Members have reported that payment withdrawals are usually the first sign of a successful ballot entry. An email notification will follow shortly after, and later a message with the tickets.

4. Secondary Ballot

Following the results of the initial balloting, a secondary ballot is held. This ballot is only for members who have not received tickets for any other home match this season, league or cup matches.

5. Late Ticket Release

For each match this season, a small number of tickets have been released in the 24 hours leading up to kickoff. These tickets are made available directly through the club’s official website and can be purchased online in real time. Screenshots in the Away/Cup Ticket section below show the step-by-step purchase process.

Purchasing Cup Home Tickets/All Away Tickets

First-come, First-served process

These tickets are sold live. Season ticket holders have access to the first sales window. Members have access during the second sales window, typically four hours after the season ticket holders’ window opens. Any remaining tickets will be made available to non-members.

1. Select Match

Log in to the Wrexham AFC website and navigate to Tickets a few minutes before the sales window opens. Keep refreshing the site until the match you want to attend shows tickets available.

2. Select Tickets

When you select the quantity of tickets, if tickets are available, you can either accept the tickets suggested for you or choose other tickets from the map. For very high-demand matches in which tickets sell out in minutes, it’s best to keep the tickets presented to you, as it may be hard to get tickets from the map into your checkout basket with so many people vying for the same tickets.

3. Categorize Tickets

The next step is not immediately obvious, and it is easy to become stuck at this stage. You need to select a price category for EACH TICKET. Select the “+” button next to the proper price category to change the number to “1” for EACH TICKET.

4. Assign Tickets

You then need to assign each ticket to a member. Given that the purchase is time-limited, you need to create your Network before the ticket window. Additionally, ensure that all members in your Network have activated their accounts. When you click in the search box at this stage, the members in your Network will appear, and you can select the proper person for each ticket.

5. Check Out

Once each ticket is assigned to a member with an active account, you can proceed to payment.

6. Ticket Delivery

Home tickets will be delivered with an email notification.

Away tickets will either be delivered via email notification (for digital tickets) or picked up at the Racecourse ticket window (for paper tickets). Note that although some paper tickets may be available for pickup at the away venue, this is not guaranteed. You should be prepared to collect the tickets in Wrexham if they are sold as paper tickets.
